Introduce about Catch And Shoot
Rugby is one of the popular sports in the US and many other countries around the world. Based on this sports theme, VOODOO developed a game called Catch And Shoot. They brought a new approach that was loved by a lot of people. Specifically, about the gameplay and features of Catch And Shoot, we will learn about in this article.
Playing rugby on the roof
In Catch And Shoot, you will control a group of athletes and try to bring the rugby ball to the finish. The rules are the same as regular rugby. However, there are no longer professional stadiums. Instead, you will throw rugby balls on the rooftops of tall buildings in the city.
At the beginning of the game, you keep the ball. After moving and watching to find the best pitch angle, you let go of your hand, the character will throw the ball in that direction with your teammates’ target in the opposite building. If a teammate catches the ball, he will continue running and pass the ball to the other teammates until the ball crosses the finish line. If you miss, the game is over, and you have to start all over again.
You will receive rewards corresponding to your achievements. If you play better, you can get a bonus double, triple, five times, or more. This depends on the accuracy and a little bit of luck.
Overcome opponents and obstacles to throw the ball
The first few levels are pretty easy to play. There are virtually no obstacles and opponents, so you don’t have to play in a hurry. But then, problems began to appear. The first is the opponent. They wear yellow uniforms, tend to approach and stop your team members. Then, you need to avoid them or throw the ball to other teammates.
Common obstacles are the iron mesh panels. If you hit the net, your teammates cannot receive the ball. As a result, you have to play it again. This kind of obstacle is quite difficult to deal with. You will have to wriggle to find a space large enough and have a straight trajectory to where your teammate is standing. Then you can throw the ball to him.
Overall, Catch And Shoot is a pretty fast-paced game. Even if you leave your opponents behind, they will always chase you. So, pass the ball to another teammate as soon as possible.
Something you should know
If you pay attention to some other VOODOO games like Shortcut Run or Roof Rails, you will notice that the character can fall off when trying to run over a building or run into the water. But Catch And Shoot no longer have this element. The character automatically stops when standing near the edge of the building. Therefore, you can run to the end of the line to get closer to your teammate and pass the ball to him.
Sometimes, teammates can stand fairly close together. If you feel that many opponents surround the teammate in front, you can throw the ball to the one in the back. The ball moves in a curved downward trajectory, so do not throw the ball if the distance is too far because you may lose the ball.
Enemies can also break the ball or, more accurately, make them out of their trajectory. Therefore, you should not make a direct throw to the opponent if you do not want to play again.
Finally, I want to talk about coins on the way. Not only are they bonuses you can collect, but they also tend to be in a trajectory towards your teammates. If you have a chance, throw the ball in the direction of the coins.
Unlock skins and balls
By default, your character has a simple suit with a T-shirt, black jeans, and a classic rugby ball. Catch And Shoot has 18 types of character skins, common and rare. You can click on the “Skins” on the right side of the screen to randomize. The cost per spin with common skins is 400 coins and 800 for rare skins.
Alternatively, you can also replace the default balloon with Captain America’s flying saucers, shields, and more. There are 18 types, they are automatically unlocked according to the level, stretching from level 1 to level 69. You cannot use coins to unlock the ball.
